HOW TO MAKE RECTANGLES USING THE SQUARE SCALLOP DIE

I love how you can make Rectangles from Stampin' Up! Scallop Square #115950
this die is in the latest Mini, ends31st March, 2011
I just love products that have more than one use.
This is how they will turn out, I have written the size mat you need, you may want 2 mats so just make the next layer 1/2 cm smaller.  I put a hole in one corner and keep them on a ring for future reference.

I’m going to show you how to easily cut a Scalloped Rectangle with your Square Scallop Die and your Big Shot.
First you will need your Big Shot, Clear Cutting Pads, Scallop Square Die and a Piece of Card Stock big enough to cover the die.

Next you will layer your sandwich with your Clear Cutting Pad, The Scallop Die and the other Clear Cutting Pad.

Cover die completely, Push forward and run through

Now you have your Scallop Square

Insert the scallop Square into the scallop Grooves of the die to the desired width.

So there you have it…..an easily cut Scalloped Rectangle in seconds!!!  I keep the off cuts you can use them to make an accent on your card or use multi colour on the front of a card.  Will get to make one, one day, just need to cut more rectangles.
Till next time Tina
